Working Hour: 8am-5.30pm
Provide basic care such as checking and recording vital signs, maintaining patients' hygiene and assisting with daily activities like dressing or eating.
Assessing patients’ condition and implement nursing care plan.
Performing nursing procedures such as wound dressing and management, removal of stitches, venepuncture, changing of urinary catheter and etc.
Ensuring continuity of treatment plans for patients.
Maintain accurate documentation of procedures carried out and medications dispensed.
Reporting to patients' primary care provider.
Offer a professional source of comfort to the patients and their families.
Explain the patients' condition or symptoms, listen to their concerns and relay information between the patient and their family.
Follow all medical regulations and the code of medical ethics.
Providing a caring, empathetic environment for patients.
Administer certain medications to patients under the orders of a physician.
Monitor patients' pain levels at end of life, and continue to offer solutions to physical discomfort, including pharmaceuticals and /or therapies.
Mindful to alleviate symptoms such as nausea, anxiety and bed sores.
Guide their patients through end-of-life emotions and are there to support patients when family is not available.
Job Requirements
Diploma/ Degree in Nursing or equivalent.
Registered with Singapore Nursing board.
Minimum 3 years of related experience.
Palliative Care - Advanced/Specialist Diploma in Palliative Nursing, Geriatric Care - Advanced/Specialist Diploma in Geriatric/ Gerontology Nursing are added advantages.
