(Social Service) Fundraising Manager (Handle High Net Worth Individuals/ Relationship Manager keen to move into Social service) Up 7K #HJC

You will lead the major gifts pipeline from prospect identification and cultivation through solicitation and stewardship, working closely with senior management, Board members and programme teams to develop compelling funding opportunities that align donor interests with our mission and strategic priorities.

Job Responsibilities

Develop and implement the major gifts fundraising strategy and achieve agreed income targets.
Build and manage a strong pipeline of major donors and philanthropic prospects.
Identify, cultivate and develop relationships with HNWIs, family offices, foundations and other strategic partners.
Develop compelling funding proposals and cases for support and major gift opportunities.
Lead donor engagement, solicitation, negotiations and stewardship to secure significant and multi-year gifts.
Strengthen donor retention and identify opportunities to deepen existing relationships.
Work closely with senior leaders and programme teams to develop funding opportunities and communicate organisational impact.
Monitor fundraising performance, pipeline health and income forecasts.
Ensure appropriate donor due diligence, CRM management and compliance with fundraising policies and regulations.

Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
At least 5 years of relevant experience in major gifts fundraising, philanthropy, business development, relationship management or a related field.
Proven experience managing major donor portfolios and securing significant philanthropic gifts.
Strong relationship-building, communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
Confidence in engaging HNWIs, family offices, foundations and senior stakeholders.
Strong commercial and financial acumen, with the ability to translate organisational priorities into compelling funding opportunities.
Experience with donor CRM systems such as Salesforce or Raiser's Edge would be an advantage.
High integrity, discretion, resilience and a strong results orientation.
CFRE or relevant fundraising qualification would be an advantage.
