The main role includes ensuring the safe, effective, and optimal use of medications through clinical review, patient counselling, and collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform clinical review and verification of medication orders to ensure accuracy, appropriateness, and patient safety.
- Dispense medications accurately and provide counselling to patients and drug‑related guidance to healthcare professionals.
- Oversee daily pharmacy operations, including supervision of staff and ensuring proper medication supply, procurement, storage, and documentation.
- Support quality improvement, medication safety initiatives, and continuous enhancement of pharmacy workflows and policies.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy
- Eligible for registration with the Singapore Pharmacy Council (SPC)
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment
- Commitment to provide compassionate and patient-centred care
- Senior position will be considered for applicants with relevant experience
