(Redhill and Toa Payoh) 2 Months Temp Dental Assistant ($12/hr) #HJC

 To support Outreach and Special Projects team, just dental assisting but they will be dealing with special needs patients or migrant workers as that is the primary patients for the dental clinics

- We will need this person to start work ASAP
- 12/hr
- Monday to Thursday, 8.30am to 6pm. Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm

Working location at Redhill or Toa Payoh
- Need to travel to both locations based on manpower

Job Scope
- Provide chair-side assisting to Dental Officers or volunteer Dentists for various dental procedures.
- Educate patients by giving oral hygiene, plaque control and postoperative instructions.
- Maintain and achieve high infection control protocols and service standards.
- Comply with work safety regulations in the handling of dental instruments and equipment.
- Perform daily maintenance and cleanliness of the dental clinic.
- Manage and schedule of patients’ appointments.
- Attend to patient queries including having knowledge and pricing of the various subsidy levels for different groups.
- Handle billing and making of CHAS claims.
- Maintain proper usage and inventory record of equipment and stock supplies and ensure the proper use and maintenance of dental equipment, instruments and other fixed assets.
- Liaise with contracted vendor regarding the delivery and supply of stocks.
- Perform other administrative duties including liaising with social workers and our outreach partners.
