Job Responsibilities

* Assist plaster technicians with the safe application and removal of casts for patients.
* Prepare plaster materials, equipment and supplies required for casting procedures.
* Support the daily operations of the plaster room to ensure smooth and efficient patient care.
* Monitor, organise and replenish plaster room supplies and equipment.
* Provide basic patient assistance and communicate with patients during procedures.
* Assist with scheduling follow-up appointments and coordinating patient arrangements.
* Support documentation, record-keeping and administrative workflows.
* Adhere to infection control procedures, workplace safety guidelines and established clinical protocols.
* Maintain professional conduct and provide a positive patient experience.
* Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

* No prior plaster or casting experience required – training will be provided.
* Must have a keen interest in plaster and casting procedures and be willing to learn.
* Able to commit to a 6-month contract
* Comfortable assisting patients and working in a healthcare environment.
* Able to follow safety and infection control procedures.
* Comfortable wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required.
* Good communication skills and a responsible working attitude.
* Working Hours: Monday–Friday, staggered office hours.
* Work Location: Kent Ridge.
* Salary: $2,000–$3,000/month, depending on qualifications and experience.
