R&D Process Technologist (FLAVOURS MNC) - West/up to $5k #HAO

Salary: up to $5000
Working Days & Hours: Mon-fri office hrs

Job Description:
Responsibility to handle internal sample-making requests and perform standard laboratory tests, ensuring consistent quality and accurate recording of test results.

Collaborate with senior food technologists to develop new intermediate products using in-house food processing technologies.

Support innovative projects aligned with industry standards and customer-specific requirements.

Independently design experiments to troubleshoot issues and identify root causes through lab trials.

Assist in internal sensory evaluation preparation and maintain precise results documentation.

Liaise with purchasing teams to source raw materials for internal and external applications.

Act as an interface between R&D and Production to ensure a smooth transition from lab trials to full-scale production.

Resolve and troubleshoot issues arising from production challenges or customer complaints.

Oversee equipment maintenance, housekeeping, and servicing of laboratory instruments.

Ensure compliance with laboratory safety requirements

Job Requirements: Min Degree in Food Science/Chemistry or similar w min 2 yrs of relevant experience, preferably in upstream R&D process experience or food processing experience (e.g., spray drying, heat reaction, extraction)
