Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement key strategic initiatives and action plans that will generate growth in the Pharma segment and increase in market share
• Define the optimal go-to-customer strategy. Create sales training materials and outbound customer-facing solution selling contents that meets the need of Pharma customers.
• Champion development of end market growth strategies based on upstream fact-based analysis of market trends; competitive applications portfolios; technology advancements; and customer needs assessment and regulatory requirements.
• Creates economic value proposition highlighting end to end workflows and analytical platforms.
• Ensure successful commercialization of new products/solutions and ramp to volume targets are met.
• Responsible for upstream voice of customer and actively develop relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in Pharma market segments.
• Coordination/delivery of strategic support for key workflow development at customer sites
• Monitor and drive growth of the analytical instruments, aftermarket consumables and services
• into pharma and ensuring regional sales financial targets are met.
• Support the development of annual strategic planning initiatives (SGS), M&A due diligence and other new growth initiatives
Product and Commercial Strategy
• Translate industry needs into new product offerings by developing commercial value proposition, technical requirements, and launch plan
• Work closely with technical team to design data inputs and outputs required for new product features
• Seek to understand the drivers of the business and proactively identify industry opportunities to create value and grow the business
• Analyze opportunities for the expansion of services and technologies for partner accounts, and work closely with VP of Business Development to build business cases for new product / service offerings
• Develop standardized processes and materials to be used in sales meetings and for existing partners
Account Management
• Manage new and ongoing relationships with R&D collaborations including developing and maintaining relationships with key partner stakeholders
• Scope and negotiate contracts for expanded services with partners
• Lead cross-functional team members in preparing for and engaging in interactions with our partners, including ensuring that scientific results are clearly communicated to address partners’ needs and objectives
• For partner programs, define objectives, team, and scope; plan timelines, resources, and budgets; identify risks and dependencies
• Support the Business Development lead in customer engagement
