Financial Analyst (Contract / Tobacco / Up to $6500)

Description

Responsibilities:

  • Handle Controllable Costs budget preparation including monthly tracking and review, coordination with relevant departments, ensuring consistency and timely submissions of proposals
  • System inputs of volume-related allowances and ensure accurate inputs of other controllable costs
  • Ensure accurate monthly submission of actuals for regional offices
  • Manage budget cycle and ensure alignment with it
  • Ensure projection identifiers in the purchase orders are in line with master file
  • Identify process improvement and simplification for controllable costs management
  • Monthly tracking on actual overheads, and highlighting deviations against budget
  • Monthly tracking and review of costs to ensure spendings within budget
  • Monthly status updates to head of functions, and highlighting of potential overspent vs budget
  • Prepare overheads costs forecast during budget process
  • Assist in Year end accruals for controllable costs 
  • Other ad hoc duties as required


Requirements:

  • Min. Degree in Business / Economics / Finance
  • Min. 5 - 7 years prior relevant working experience in finance, preferably in the FMCG / pharmaceutical industry
  • Possess prior experience in budgeting / business planning / controllable cost
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to start work immediately or within short notice
